Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. — Luke 6:38
Q: What payment methods can I use for my online donation?
Morris Brown AME Church accepts donations through BlueFire, our online donation account processor. You can pay with your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover credit/debit cards or via an electronic check (eCheck).
Q: Is online giving secure?
We have taken all necessary steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer,” a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the internet. It is the same technology used by banks and online retailers to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.
Q: What’s wrong? When I click ‘Donate Now,’ nothing happens.
When you click Donate Now, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window may not open. Most pop-up blocker tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on specific web sites. In order to use online giving, you will need to allow pop-ups from morrisbrownonline.org.
Q: What options do I have regarding scheduled giving?

Q: Are these online donations tax deductible?
These online donations will work just like any other form of donation (for example, donations via cash or check) and will be tax deductible as long as proper contact information (Name and Address) is given with your donation.
Q: How do I know if my payment went through?
If your online donation is successfully completed, you will see a page acknowledging the transaction. Shortly thereafter, you will receive a receipt via email.
Q: How do I participate in the weekly offering during worship services if my contribution is I choose to give online?
If you wish, you can write “I’m giving online” on the giving envelope, and place it in the offering basket, but it is not necessary.

Four Benefits to Giving Online
1. You are taking a step of faith – When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith!
2. You will simplify your life – You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or need to send in an offering by mail when you’re unable to make it to church.
3. You will be helping the church – Every person who gives through automatic giving makes our record keeping much easier.
4. You can focus on worship at church – Instead of having to get out a pen and write out an envelope and check, you can focus entirely on worship.
