A novel, or new, Coronavirus was discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Coronavirus causes a respiratory disease known as COVID-19. On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, an outbreak caused by the virus was officially declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).

We have convened a Contingency Task Force to make sure there are minimal interruptions to our kingdom-building work, and we will continue to follow the directives of the Federal, state, and local governments.

We ask that you join us in praying that God continues to hold us in the palm of HIS hands.

Protecting Ourselves

What we are doing to protect our staff, members, and guests

  • We are planning new ways to worship, including moving our worship experiences to the digital space.
  • We are examining ways to continue to host church activities in alternate ways until regular operations resume at the church.
  • Our church office is now functioning remotely so that our staff can practice social distancing.
  • We are continually sanitizing the sanctuary and fellowship hall both before and after staff arrive to check mail, retrieve packages, and carry out other business on behalf of the church.
  • We are urging our members and guests to make a concerted effort to check on each other.
Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

What you can do to protect yourself and those you love

  • If you are experiencing symptoms consistent with a respiratory illness, we urge you to seek medical attention immediately.
  • Please reach out regularly to fellow members, especially those who are elderly or living with chronic conditions, to see if they require assistance.
  • Please follow the recommendations of government leaders, public health officials, and trusted sources of information.
  • We ask that you continue to pray for our government leaders, public health officials, clergy and lay leaders, and our family of members and guests as we all get through this together.
  • Remember that the challenges posed by the COVID-19 outbreak are great, but the God we serve is greater!
