Advent Study Series 2011

Our annual Advent Study Series kicked off Monday, November 28, 2011 at 6:00 pm. The theme for this year’s series is Church Growth: Making Disciples in a Changing World. The sessions will focus on the following topics:

  • November 28 The Church and Contemporary Needs
  • December 5 Our Heritage of Faith and Our Relevant Mission
  • December 12 Not Conformity, But Transformation
  • December 19 The Church as an Agent of Change

Sessions begin promptly at 6:00 pm each Monday. For more information, contact Senior Pastor, Rev. Joseph Darby.

Lenten Study 2011

We hope you will join us for our 2011 Lenten Study Series entitled Strengthening Our Service: Learning More about the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Beginning Monday, March 14, we will start at 6:00 pm each week. The schedule of weekly topics is noted below.

2nd Annual College Fair

The Morris Brown AME Church Career and Guidance Ministry invites you to attend the 2nd Annual College Fair.

We’ll have information on the college admissions process, housing and campus life and details on how to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

In addition, we’ll have representatives on hand from local colleges. Among those in attendance last year were: the College of Charleston, Trident Technical College, the Art Institute of Charleston, Allen University, South Carolina State University, and more.

We hope to see you there!
